Ownership & licensing

You own what you make.

On any paid plan you own your songs, lyrics, artwork and videos. You can sell them, stream them and monetise them. We claim nothing in your output and we do not train on it.

The detail below matters if you are releasing commercially. Read it once.

Free tier

Three renders, watermarked. For trying the product. Not licensed for commercial release.

Paid plans

Full commercial rights. No watermark. Stream it, sell it, sync it, put it in an ad.

Per-model terms

Each provider sets its own licence. We show which model made a render, and its terms, on the render itself.

The detail

Do I own what I make? +

On any paid plan, yes. You own the songs, lyrics, cover art and videos you generate, and you can use them commercially. Free-tier output is for evaluation only.

Can I monetise it on YouTube? +

Yes. AI-assisted music is monetisable on YouTube when the content is yours and adds original value. Purely automated, repetitive uploads can fall foul of their reused-content policy — that is a YouTube rule, not a Vocaler one.

Will Content ID claim my track? +

It should not. Your renders are unique audio. If a claim does appear, it usually means the track resembles training material or another upload — dispute it with your render receipt, which we keep on your account.

Can I release to Spotify and Apple Music? +

Yes, through any distributor. Some distributors ask you to declare AI involvement. Declare it — misdeclaring risks takedown.

Does it differ by model? +

Yes, and this matters. Each provider sets its own terms for commercial use. We surface the licence for the model you picked on every render, so you know before you release.

Can I register the copyright? +

It depends where you are. Several jurisdictions, including the US, require meaningful human authorship for registration. Your lyrics, arrangement and edits count toward that; a raw one-prompt render may not.

What do you claim? +

Nothing in your output. We do not claim ownership, we do not resell your renders, and we do not train on your work.

What happens if I cancel? +

You keep the rights to everything you already made. Downloads stay available for 30 days after cancellation, so export before you go.
